Wow your audience!

In our “Let Your Imagination Bloom” series of workshops we will be showing how to create eye catching images like these.

Transparent and Balanced

It’s a balancing act! The combination of differing levels of transparency in the crisp yet delicate skeleton leaf as the vessel and the mystic of the orb along with their reflections brings to you an elegant and beautiful artistic still life.

With endless choices in the combinations of subjects, gorgeous backgrounds and that special ingredient you will soon be creating jaw dropping imagery that will delight you and your audience.

Botanical Ballerinas

Full of activity our Botanical Ballerinas will awaken your creativity. Whether it’s the more elegant like moves of a ballerina or the vibrant steps of the tango; the artistic director in you will come alive!

No two images will ever be the same! Depending on your camera you will learn different ways to create the dances your way.

White Washed Petals

As the paint slowly makes it way along the features of the flower some amazingly beautiful artistic scenes are created. Petals draped in paint feel instantly romantic. You become the artist combining your talents with paint and your camera.

Once you decide how you wish your final image to feel, slow and dreamy or more towards the grungier side this is a technique you will want to repeat time and time again once you learn how.

Posh Petals

Just picture walking downtown and coming upon a very well-dressed elegant lady, hat on and ready to show the world her visually exciting attire!  You have seen her before; you can’t stop looking at how perfectly made up she is!

Now is your chance to create your own fashion designs from every part of a flower, dress up the drawings we provide to bring to life your vision of vintage, artsy, grunge, bohemian, chic, trendy or any other fashion style you desire.

Bashful Blooms

What dreams are made of! Inspired by our Illuminated Immersions, Bashful Blooms takes the technique up a level or two achieving a softer and more ethereal effect.

Beautiful Bouquets

Alive with colour, as if a thousand rainbows had been scattered across the landscape. Pause for a moment to take it all in – whether your choice is the vibrant hues of pink and yellow, purple and blue or a more subtle and romantic palette. It is breathtakingly beautiful.

You will smile at your handiwork before taking another look at the magic of creating Beautiful Bouquets

Cheryl Eagers Creative Flower Photographer Workshops

Hi, I’m Cheryl :-)

Where my passion for creative photography brings to you fun filled and inspirational photography workshops.

So; I have won some awards and have some credentials

Along with achieving my Masters in Contemporary Arts (concentrating on flower photography) and becoming a PSQ Accredited Judge (Photographic Society Of Queensland), throughout the years I have won several photographic awards from the AIPP, Photographic Society of Queensland Salon of Excellence Competitions, Epson Pano Awards, Queensland Ekka Photography Section along with the local Mackay Show Photography Section.

Above all this my hearts mission is show you how dedication and practice will soon have you creating amazing imagery.

In short, I began to take my photography seriously in 2003. In 2004 I joined a local camera club, Creative Shots Photo Club Inc where I have spent 6 years non-consecutively as president. From 2016 to 2017 I offered a variety of photographic workshops over a vast range of subjects from portraits to flower photography to Astro. After this I had a break from workshops and offered people portraits and pet photography.

During 2020 I rediscovered my absolute love for flower photography and have set about trying several experiments on the many ways I can photography flowers, from a simple flower portrait to the more complex set up of painting them in fish tanks.

My husband David says to me “You were photographing flowers when I met you and you still are”.

This reinforced to me that photographically, flowers are my greatest joy.

This is what I want to share and teach.

You may find me photographing other subjects, but I feel I will always come back to the smiling faces of my flowers.
